Add staff members with different access levels and PIN login

Open the Staff Management page

From your YSW Lab dashboard, go to Settings and click the 'Staff' tab. This page shows all current staff members and their roles. As the shop owner, you have full Admin access. From here you can invite new staff, change roles, or remove access.

Click 'Invite Staff' and enter your employee's email address. They will receive an email invitation with a link to create their own login. If they do not have an email, you can create an account for them directly and set their username and password.

Assign a role to each staff member

Choose the appropriate role for each person. 'Manager' can edit the menu, view sales reports, process refunds, and manage orders. 'Cashier' can only take orders and process payments. 'Kitchen' sees only the kitchen display showing incoming orders that need to be prepared.

Set up PIN-based quick login

For faster shift changes, enable PIN login under each staff member's profile. Set a unique 4-digit PIN for each employee. During service, staff can switch between accounts by entering their PIN on the lock screen instead of typing a full email and password.

Test each staff account

Log out and sign in with each staff account to verify they see only what they should. A Cashier should see the order screen but not the reports or menu editor. A Kitchen staff member should see only the kitchen display with incoming orders. Fix any permissions before going live.
